The people have spoken! People are sharing their opinions and honest reviews of Rihanna's Fenty beauty products.
The gorgeous queen, herself, Rihanna, released her own line of cosmetic products earlier in September. She named her line, Fenty Beauty, as Fenty is actually Rihanna’s real last name (fans were shook upon hearing this). And those same fans headed to their local Sephora or ordered online, all of the makeup products their hearts desired.
But the real question is: “How good are the beauty products?”
Pulling from Sephora reviewers and some beauty influencers on YouTube, here are the ULTIMATE reviews of the Fenty Beauty Line.
Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer
Purpose: Smooths pores, evens out the skin, allows for longer makeup wear
Price: $32
Sephora Reviews:
It seems that Sephora reviewers were split, depending on the skin type they had (oily vs. dry).
Cons- “Wouldn’t recommend for oily skin” and “It broke me out all over my face.”
Pros- “It definitely prepped my skin and refreshed it as well without feeling too heavy” and “If you have severely dry skin but also large pores, you need to try this one!”
YouTuber Reviews:
Pro- Nikkie Tutorials said, “The primer has a good scent. The primer feels soft on the skin with a hydrated-velvet feel.”
Pro- Both Laura Lee and James Charles said that it reminded them of a lotion.
Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation
Purpose: Matte foundation with medium-to-full coverage
Price: $34
Sephora Reviews:
The foundation was probably the most controversial product in the entire line.
Pro-“I like a dewy foundation that is lightweight. I LOVE THIS!”
Con- “The product just sits in my pores and fine lines and does not blend out well on drier areas.”
YouTuber Reviews:
Pro- Nyma Tang said she loved the finish of the foundation so much, that she didn’t feel the need to set it with a powder.
Pro/Con- Nikkie Tutorials liked the color range but mentioned, “The foundation dries really, really fast. It can look a tiny bit streaky.”

The Match Stix Trios
Purpose: Conceal, contour, highlight

Sephora Reviews:
When it came to the Match Stix Trio, a majority of the reviewers did recommend to buy it!

Invisimatte Blotting Powder
Purpose: Absorbs shine and diffuses pores
Price: $32
Sephora Reviews:
Sephora customers with more of a combination-oily skin loved this product! But some others did not like the effect it gave to their foundation.
Pros- “I added this to my face for a touch-up, and baby, my face looked like it had a fresh application of foundation. I was shook! Great buy” and “The best powder EVER! No white cast on dark skin tones, perfect for combo-oily skin.”
Cons- “I will not be using again, unfortunately…the application is stunning but it gives horrible results” and “It looked dusty and didn’t really blend. Since the point is to blot without messing up your makeup, this just doesn’t work with my skin.”
YouTuber Reviews:
Pro- James Charles tested out the powder to see if it was flashback-proof and he agreed that it was and said that it was a major win!
Overall, the Sephora reviewers and YouTubers can agree on one thing- Rihanna did not disappoint!
While some may have had their own personal preferences, the majority seemed to like the line and would recommend for others to try out. Well…if you can get your hands on any of the Fenty Beauty products.
Rihanna has been selling out fast and consistently restocking the products. But don’t worry too much, Rihanna’s making sure everyone gets the chance to try out her line!
