Say goodbye to your money.
The Kardashians are no stranger to the beauty market, and now Kourtney might be following Kim and Kylie into the realm of lip gloss and concealer.
According to Refinery 29, Kourtney’s company, 2Die4Kourt, filed the paperwork to trademark the word “Kourt” under the cosmetics goods/services category. This is following an ambiguous, uncaptioned Instagram story posted by Kourtney that featured variations of the word “Kourt” next to a Kylie Cosmetics notepad.
Are we looking at the first brainstorm for a Kourt cosmetics logo? Is this hinting at a possible sister cosmetics collab?
Kourtney’s sisters have had great success with their own lines. Kylie Cosmetics, despite some backlash, has made $420 million in sales in just 18 months, and Kim’s new fragrance Crystal Gardenia made $10 million in sales its first day.
Kourtney was part of the Kardashian Beauty line when it launched in 2013, but since then she’s been focused on more health-centered ventures.
There hasn’t been any official word about anything from Kourtney or any of her Kardashian sisters, and everyone knows how they love to tease their fans and keep the public guessing — just look at Khloe’s long-overdue pregnancy announcement and Kylie’s still unconfirmed baby rumors that have been circulating since September.
Until an official announcement is made, we’re all just going to have to wait and see. And hope Kourt’s potential cosmetics don’t break the bank.
