He's not worried.
Yet another Royal Prince is declining to sign a prenup with his future spouse, as Prince Harry has reportedly rejected a prenuptial contract ahead of his upcoming marriage to American actress Meghan Markle. Like his older brother William who also declined a prenup when he married Kate Middleton in 2011, Harry is confident his marriage will go the distance.

The 33-year-old prince is estimated to be worth £30 million, comprised of his own earnings and his share of the estate of the late Princess Diana. Both Prince William and Prince Harry inherited about £10 million on their 30th birthdays, including some personal jewelry from Diana’s collection. Reportedly, Diana wanted her sons to pass on her jewelry to their future wives, which is why the two outside diamonds on Markle’s engagement ring contain two diamonds from Diana’s collection.
Markle, 36, is estimated to be worth £3.7 million in her own right, having raked in an annual salary of £333,000 from working on the legal drama Suits since 2011. The future Duchess of Sussex left the TV show to pursue humanitarian work as part of the Royal Family, ahead of the marriage scheduled for May 19th.

“There was never any question in Harry’s mind that he would sign a prenup,” a source told the Daily Mail. “He’s determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there’s no need for him to sign anything.” While prenups are not common or legally enforceable in the U.K., they are often taken account in the event of divorce.
It’s a good thing the couple will be sharing finances, since William and Kate’s wedding was one of the most expensive weddings of all time – costing an estimated $34 million, according to CBS News. We’ll have to wait and see if Prince Harry and Meghan’s big day ends up topping that.
